Winter Bus Pass Update

GET ON BOARD THE BUS!

The UWSA, OPUS and GSS negotiated a universal student bus pass (U-Pass) for UWSA, OPUS and GSS students, To use U-Pass, students will need to tap their U-Pass cards on the readers upon boarding the bus.

The U-Pass allows members to have unlimited rides on the regular Transit Windsor City service during the fall/winter 2024/2025 semesters.

Bus Pass Pick-Up Hours of Operation

In the UWSA Office

Monday to Thursday - 9:30am to 4:00pm

Friday - 9:30am to 3:30pm

PICK UP YOUR PASS!

  • All undergraduate students can pick up your UPass at the UWSA Offices at the following times:

    Fall Bus Pass pick up will begin September 4th, 2024 to September 27th in the Alumni Auditorium

    After pick up available at the UWSA office

    Monday to Thursday - 9:30am to 4:00pm

    Friday - 9:30am to 3:30pm.

    • Student ID, or

    • Government-issued photo ID

  • No one besides the student receiving the bus pass may pick up the pass. The student must be present to verify their identification.

  • The fall/winter bus pass is valid until April 30th, 2025.

OPT-OUT INFORMATION

  • Fall Opt-out is January 2nd to January 31st. *Please note this opt-out is only available for student who’s first semester is winter.

    *The Opt-out button will be available on January 2nd

    1. I currently reside outside the Windsor Transit service area and will reside in the eligible postal code area for the duration of the Fall 2024 semester (N0P, N7L, N7M, N0L, N0R, N9V, N8H, N8L, N8M, N8N, N9K, N9Y, N9J, N9H)

      Please provide photo ID with your address and one additional piece of proof with your address (bank statement, bill, paystub, shipping label)

    2. I am the Registered Permit Holder of a parking pass purchased at the University of Windsor 

      Please provide photo ID and a photo of the parking pass 

    3. I am participating in a student exchange program outside the Windsor Transit service area during Winter 2025 semester.

    4. My classes are all online for the Winter 2025 semester.

  • No, you must be enrolled in the Winter to receive a buss pass.
