I have always been part of the student council in my high school, starting from vice-captain for sports or head boy of my high school. I have relevant experience in indulging with student affairs and hosting events to increase student interactions. I have also done a lot of debates and public speaking in my high school and have a great stage experience of addressing a larger audience.
I want to create a community where students don’t hesitate to speak about their emotions. I want to give opportunities to the students at the University of Windsor to interact with each other through organizing residence floor events, residence building events, and large campus events. My focus will be equally on all students no matter if they live on campus or off-campus. I will make sure all the students do not feel left out. I will give student organizations a better voice to give them a better platform for community engagement. As every month has a different cultural event, I want to engage the students in participating in those events so as to increase awareness.
I have done an internship with the Lalit group of hotels in India from where I have learned to work respectfully with a group. I am a good listener; I like to give opportunities to people to express their opinions. I give my opinion, but I am not at all rigid instead I am flexible. I love listening to other people and deciding with everyone. I want to provide a safe comfortable environment to all my colleagues. I would give opportunities to others to share their ideas.
