As the first-year representative at the Forensic Science Association at the University of Windsor, I have gained valuable experience that makes me a suitable candidate for the position. Some of the relevant experiences I have had include:

  • Event organization: I was part of the Forensic Science Booth at the University of Windsor Fall Open House.
  • Collaboration: I have worked closely with other members of the association to brainstorm ideas for the Logo and merch.
What specific initiatives and projects would you undertake related to this role?

As the International Student Representative at the University of Windsor, I would undertake several initiatives and projects that are aimed at supporting and empowering international students. Here are some of the specific initiatives and projects that I would focus on:

  • Organizing cultural events.
  • Improving Mental Health Issues
  • Addressing Housing issues
  • Advocating for international student rights
How do you plan on facilitating positive work relationships within the UWSA Board, members at large and UWindsor administration?

As an International Student Representative, I understand the importance of positive work relationships within the UWSA Board, members at large, and the UWindsor administration. To facilitate such relationships, I plan to take the following steps:

Active Communication: Communication is key to any positive work relationship. I plan on actively communicating with the UWSA Board, members and UWindsor administration through various means.

Describe the importance of the UWSA in your own words

To me, the University of Windsor Student Alliance (UWSA) plays an essential role in representing and advocating for the interests of students at the University of Windsor. The UWSA acts as a liaison between the students and the university administration, ensuring that the students’ voices are heard and their concerns are addressed. As a student, I believe that the UWSA is crucial in ensuring that our university experience is positive, inclusive, and supportive.The UWSA also plays a critical role in advocating for student issues, such as tuition fees, campus safety, and diversity and inclusion.
