Looking to get involved and learn more about the student voice at the University?


Your student union, the UWSA, is hosting its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, January 29th 2019 at 4:00 PM in the CAW Alumni Auditorium! At AGM, every full-time undergraduate student has the right to vote on changes to the organization’s by-laws and set the direction for the UWSA going forward.

  2. Hear from your Executives on what’s changed in the UWSA
  3. Review the audited financial statements
  4. Propose, speak, and vote on important changes to the UWSA

Members can propose motions to be discussed or voted upon at the AGM as per By-Law 40.03. Member proposals must be submitted to by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 15th 2019.


Members that are unable to attend can send a proxy (representative) in their place in accordance with By-Law 40.12. Please note that  the official AGM Agenda and the proxy submission forms are not yet available, however, a notice will be sent out in the coming days when they become accessable. Proxies must be submitted to the UWSA office by 5:00 PM on Friday, January 25th, 2019:
