UWSA OPPORTUNITIES
Chief Returning Officer
Category: Contract
The Chief Returning Officer (CRO) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the elections and referenda process of the UWSA and student societies, including the promotion and engagement of the electoral process, administration of voting stations, the coordination and accuracy of ballot counting, and ruling on elections matters. The CRO must ensure the electoral process is organized and managed in an efficient, fair, unbiased and impartial manner, according to the UWSA Elections Policy and By-Laws. The incumbent will be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment, be extremely well organized, detail-oriented, have strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, and excellent time management skills.

Executive Assistant to the President
Category: Part Time

Reporting to the President of the UWSA, the Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for providing administrative support to the President and Executive Officers. The EA is responsible for all administrative tasks, including but not limited to creating agendas, scheduling and coordinating meeting support, high-level stakeholder relations, managing special projects, expense reports, material preparation, research, meeting briefings, and additional duties as requested.

Board Administrator
Category: Part Time
The Board Administrator is an impartial, objective and apolitical role that provides administrative support to the Board of Directors in the preparation and maintenance of Board materials and documents.

The BlueGold Pack is the UWSA’s exclusive street team that is swarming the campus with Lancer spirit and high-level energy. As a member of the Pack, you receive leadership training, validation for your Co-Curricular Transcript, access to UWSA events, and the experiential opportunity to be a Pack Leader or volunteer in various roles.
