The University of Windsor Students’ Alliance membership—full-time undergraduate students at UWindsor—have elected new members to the student executive team and Board of Directors.

UWSA President, Herman Dayal, and the rest of the outgoing executive team have spent the last month reflecting on the past year and transitioning their roles to the incoming executive team that are expected to begin their term on May 1st.

“A year into the pandemic, it’s interesting to see how our futures still have so much uncertainty. That was a key challenge this year- having to adapt to ever-changing circumstances in a fashion that continues an enriching student experience and service to our fellow students.”

— Herman Dayal, UWSA President

Incoming UWSA President, Jasleen Dayal, had platformed on working to better connect students and has pledged her team will be bringing in new experiences, while upholding the promise of service, representation, and advocacy for students at the University of Windsor.

“As we continue to do our best to adapt to the changing circumstances of the pandemic, the UWSA will continue to uphold the promise of serving our students…I also see great potential in our incoming UWSA team – with executives who are committed to safely engaging students in programming & strong activism, along with our board directors who will strive for betterment of the student experience. We have much to look forward to this year!”
