Parking Issue Correction

On January 29, students at the University of Windsor recieved an email informing them of a change in the parking situation. As reads below, faculty Lot will be opened for student use:
Dear students:
The University administration recognizes and understands your frustration at the loss of parking on the Centre for Engineering Innovation site, located at the corner of Wyandotte Street and California Avenue (lot FF), though it is important to make clear that these parking spots were established as a result of the removal of Prince of Wales school for the eventual construction of the CEI and were always intended as temporary spaces.
In an effort to ease some of the parking congestion on main campus, student permit holders will have the opportunity to park in staff lot “F” after 4:00 p.m.
An amendment has been made to this statement, and faculty lots will be opened after 3:00pm for students with valid parking passes. We hope that this will help to alleviate some of the strain on commuting students.
